Urogynecological physiotherapy is a field whose main objective is the prevention and treatment of changes related to the pelvic area and reproductive organs. The therapy itself is based, among other things, on learning how to properly activate the pelvic floor muscles, but also on relaxing the surrounding structures through manual work.

  • The service is aimed at women struggling with:
  • incontinence of urine, gas and stool,
  • prolapse of reproductive organs,
  • pelvic, spine and intercourse pain (dyspareunia),
  • scar after caesarean section and episiotomy,
  • endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS),
  • preparation for childbirth and postpartum regeneration.
  • Each visit is preceded by an interview. You will be asked, among other things, about
  • occurrence of incidents of urine loss, painful menstruation/intercourse.
  • births and how they proceeded,
  • the birth weight of the child,
  • whether there was an incision or tear of the perineum at that time.

Important information concerns the occurrence of hemorrhoids, as well as any possible dysfunctions or discomfort in the area of the pelvis minor.
